Segmentation of point clouds (surface growing, scan line grouping, TIN mesh merging, voxel space analysis, 3D Hough transform for detection of planes, RANSAC). Demonstration of surface growing algorithm. |

Error sources (instrument errors, integration errors, processing errors) Error analysis (visual analysis, measurement of height offsets, measurement of planimetric offsets, usage of reflectance data, using geometric models). Demonstration on measurement of gable roofs. Strip adjustment (1D and 3D approaches, modelling of error sources vs. modelling of effects on DTM, non-constant errors, estimability of parameters). Experiences with the national Dutch elevation model. |
