3rd ISPRS Summer School on : Acquisition, processing and representation of
three-dimensional geospatial information

This summer school invites internationally renowned professors to give lectures on the basic theories, applications and frontier problems of 3-D geospatial data acquisition, modeling, administration and representation. It will be a great opportunity for participants to acquire knowledge and discuss problems with experts in this field. There will also be practical aspects such as software use for further analysis, which can not only consolidate knowledge from the lectures but also improve the ability to solve problems in their research work. Furthermore, the summer school provides a pleasant atmosphere for all participants in form of a reception party, technical visit, excursion and social events which will foster a relaxed atmosphere and interesting discussions.
Each summer school was hosted by a different country. The 1st ISPRS Student Consortium Summer School was held on 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey; the 2nd Summer School was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia while this time in Nanjing, China, an Asian country with centuries-old history and rich culture. Participants will have the chance to meet researchers with different cultural backgrounds. This kind of international meeting will be a precious experience for cross-cultural communication for all of you.
